YO!!!
Oh Livejournal how i missed you!!!
Yes, i am back from my sojourn to England, Scotland and Wales. And i had a fantastic time traipsing across the continent over there. I saw much, learned alot and ate many strange and weirdly wonderful foods (yes, i even had a deep fried pizza. I can feel my arteries screaming at me in agony right now). 
I also put on 10 kilos but it was so worth it. So far, my quest to lose the weight has not been successful. Alas, the stress of going back to work and sitting behind my desk has defeated me so far. 
And during my month away i missed my livejournal! I missed reading my flist updates, and i came back to a flood of emails that i had to wade through.
Speaking of floods I was there for the york floods and i was in the london floods. I was also in glasgow when the bombings took place. It seems my bad luck follows me no matter where i go. Still, i had a great time. It's good to be back!!!
And to top it all off, I've had a promotion of sorts at work. 
Great to be back and I'll start posting my stories very soon! And some piccies as well!

Interesting Stuff!

1.  The lights have randomly started flickering in my house. When it first started i was like "Wtf? NO POWER CUT!!! I'M WRITING DAMN YOU!!!!!" Then it stopped and then it started again and i was hey, that's kinda cool! 

2. My mummy's leaving for ENGLAND tomorrow! *sniffs* But that's okay. Cos, i'm leaving for england in TWO WEEKS!!! YIPEE! But that also means no computer....and no internet......*sobs* And it also means I'll be trapped at home with my dad and two brothers. And you know what scariest bit is? None of us are very good cooks! Well, on the upside, i guess I'll be losing a bit of weight? Or not.

3.  Yesterday it started to rain....and it didn't stop. Today, it's gale force winds, driving rains and it's COLD!!! I'm wearing not one, not two but THREE long sleeved tops as well as a singlet, and my cool ass boots, and I'm still cold!!! DAMN YOU, WINTER!!! DAMN YOU!!!

4. I get to leave work an hour early today!!! Yay for me!!!

5. I think I've turned into a coffee addict.  I drink somewhere between 6-8 cups of coffee a day? And maybe two or three cups of tea. And the funny thing is? I never have problems sleeping. Staying awake on the other hand......So add coffee addict to the list along with drinking too much grog (sometimes), sleeping in and being generally lazy, junk food addict.....

6. I'm a compulsive buyer. I've finally admitted it! *faints* Yes, i am the worst when it comes to buying useless shit i don't even need!

7. A hot scottish guy just came into reception. I swooned. Yes, i swooned! I am female after all, and that scottish accent gets me everytime. And the best bit is? I'M GOING TO SCOTLAND IN THREE WEEKS! WOOT!

Okay, I'm seriously pissed off about something that happened last weekend. Get this.

I was out with a group of friends drinking right? I needed a lift home, and one of the guys offered to drive me (admittedly, me and this guy haven't always gotten along well) and i accepted. Now, i have some (minimal) experience with guys right? But not a whole lot (hey, I'm young. I have time!)
Once I'd left, the girl who had organised the get together said (to my best friend no less) that the person i was leaving with had low standards and that he'd do anything that moved. Number one, this two faced cow has always been nice to me, and number two

SHUT YOUR DAMN LEGS AND WEAR SOMETHING THAT COVERS YOUR DAMN CHEST before you say shit like that to me. And you have the nerve to say crap like that to me? When everyone knows that you're like the town bike within our group of friends?

Sorry guys, i realise that its tacky to rant like this on the net, but i can't say anything to the girl who said this because i would get my Bestie in trouble during the process.

Okay, so while i'm waiting for the season finale to download, I decided to rewatch some of the older episodes of supernatural right? And cos i recently bought the australian season 1 dvd i discovered (rather unpleasently) that for some STUPID and ILLOGICAL reason, they decided to get rid of all the dvd extras.
WHY? I mean, they even left the same labelling on the discs and everything but they still removed them. It makes no sense what so ever and it was the only reason i bought the stupid dvds to begin with!!!

SUPERNATURAL IS TO RETURN!!!!
Variety has announced that supernatural will be returning for a third season! I almost fainted with relief when i read this! I found it on Supernatural.tv so thanks go out to the site! Here's an extra...

Definitely gone: "All of Us," the Will Smith-produced laffer that ran for three seasons on UPN and the CW. 
Returning shows snagging official pickups: Laffers "Girlfriends" and "The Game" and dramas "Smallville," "Supernatural" and "One Tree Hill." CW picked up "Everybody Hates Chris" for a third season earlier this spring.

*ahem* Okay, I'm over it now. just wanted to share the happiness. Aren't we all relieved? *sighs*

On another note, I am still in grieving for Sam...a week later....I was at severe risk of dying of a broken heart (call me melodramatic, but there is such a thing...it's called broken heart syndrome!) when i watched the last episode, and i don't quite think i'll ever forgive kripke for his shocking trechery, but i really can't wait for the next episode. Before that though, I hope to post a little bit of a commentry regarding the last episode, just with some thoughts and ideas for fanfics that popped into my mind.

Okay, so i was out shopping tonight, and maxing out my credit card when i set my eyes on this jacket. I was immediately hit by a flashback to the first season of Supernatural, to the episode of Dead Man's Blood.
So this jacket, right, looks almost exactly like John's (not the leather one, but the brown fabric one) and I immediately have an inner fangirl moment and went 'I wants it!'
Luckily for me, it was a women's style jacket and i immediately got my greedy little paws on it and raced for the cashier!
Go Me!!!

Just as another point of interest, has anyone ever wondered what happened to John's truck?

I mean, the man had a cache of weapons in the tray.  Not exactly inconspicuous now, is it?

So I've been watching Gilmore girls lately. While i admit i'm watching it mostly to see JP, I think this is a great show that has a lot of wit and rhythm to it, if that makes any sense.
I just felt that i needed to make a few comments on JP's acting when he first started the show.
First of all, HE LOOKS SO YOUNG! I honestly couldn't believe the it was the same guy! He looks so much older and mature now, and i find it hard to believe that he can change so much! Its the same with Jensen in dark angel. I had to do a double take when i first saw him as Ben and i still can't believe it.
And i also have to say that they're both much better actors now that they're older. You can really see the difference between what they did and what they're doing now. I have to say that they can pull of all that Manly Angst better now that they're older (moreso in Jensens case then Jareds). They were just so green....
But anyway, while i love them in their previous show, i have to say that their best work is in Supernatural, judging from what i've seen so far.

Well, that's all i wanted to say.

PS. Jensen was such a pretty boy! Now he's just a damn hot peice of masculine eyecandy!


P.P.S While i know the two aren't really related, Jared was a goofy looking kid! A cute one, but still goofy! And those DIMPLES!!!!

Okay, have JUST seen preview piccies of the episode 20 and the season finale, and OH MY GOD!!!!
Okay, (mini spoilers here!) from what i can tell in the season finale, something is wrong with SAMMY!!! Obviously Dean and Ellen and Bobby are hunting something, and somehow Dean gets a hold of the colt once more!
And we see Jess  and their mother in episode 20 (?). I'm guessing it'll be some sort of flashback to 'what could have been ' the demon hadn't kill their mother all those years ago!
I'm really wondering how they're going to finish this season. Although we have seen bits and peices of the puzzle that make up the demon's plan/Sam's fucked up destiny thing he's got going for him, i feel this season has been veering slightly from what i was thinking it would be. Don't get me wrong, some of my favorite episodes are in this season, and if they leave Seasin 2 on such a cliffy as they did the first one, they DEFINATELY must have a third Season.
I'm still not convinced about the whole 'there might not be a third season' thing. I read somewhere that Supernatural is the second most watched program on the CW network. So I'm not sure where this thing is coming from, and i'm not saying it's not true (hell, i'm praying it isn't!) This is my version of optimism!!!
